This is a shout-out to the adults of America who are putting down the kids at CB East. This especially goes out to the people who have NO CONNECTION WHATSOEVER to Central Bucks, and yet still deem it necessary to pass judgment on us.

I would just like to point out a simple fact: Natalie Munroe’s blog is an isolated instance of a woman who hated her job. It is not an eye-opener to the nature of a 2011 classroom. Ms. Munroe was not fit to be a teacher, period. It has nothing to do with the behavior of the students. And most importantly, it does not reflect the character of an entire school.

It disappoints me that so many adults jump to conclusions so quickly. They assume that we are lazy and disrespectful. Granted, there are a few of us that fit this profile, but you will find that in ANY group of teenagers from ANY generation.

It’s not OK to stereotype us in this manner. We are a REAL student body, not a fictional group of kids with no feelings. There are so many respectful, successful students at East, and right now they are getting no credit for their dedication to academics. Please take a step back and consider this.
